Total Iranian oil production — comprising crude, condensate and NGLs — in 2024 and into 2025 “hit a 40-year record high despite sanctions” at nearly 5 million barrels per day, according to Iman Nasseri of consultancy FGE, speaking at the Middle East Bunkering Convention in Dubai on Tuesday.

Of the total, crude production hovered around 3.5 million b/d in recent months, with condensate at around 700,000 b/d and NGLs at roughly 600,000 b/d, FGE data shows.

FGE pegs total Iranian crude, condensate and NGL exports over the past 12 months at between 2 million-2.5 million b/d, with crude reaching levels as high as 1.5 million b/d and condensate and NGLs reaching up to 100,000 b/d and 900,000 b/d, respectively.
