IP Week Oil and Gas/LNG Briefings 2019


About Event

FGE’s London team will be hosting two special briefings on our outlook for the oil and gas/LNG markets, with the oil session paying particular attention to upcoming IMO bunker specification changes, and the gas/LNG session focusing on dramatic shifts in market structure. These briefings will be taking place in the afternoon of Tuesday, February 26, 2019 during International Petroleum (IP) Week in London.

Dr. Fereidun Fesharaki is the Founder and Chairman of FGE. FGE is a leading consulting group focusing on the oil and gas markets East of the Suez, Europe, and the United States, with offices in London, Singapore, Tokyo, Beijing, Dubai, Honolulu, California, and Houston.

President, FGE

Dr. Jeff Brown, as President, leads FGE’s oil and gas consulting teams. He is based at our Asian headquarters in Singapore, working closely with FGE consultants in Europe, the Middle East, and North America.

Dr. Hosoe is Managing Director of FGE Japan and Member of the Executive Committee of FGE. An energy expert on Japan, Dr. Hosoe is familiar with energy policies, demand, supply, and trade with a special focus on downstream oil and natural gas/LNG.

Michael Barry has over 30 years of experience in oil/energy consultancy. He graduated with an M.A. in Economics from Cambridge University in 1978 and was employed as an economic report writer for Lloyds Bank, before spending 10 years at Petroleum Economics Ltd (PEL) where he was responsible for short-term oil and energy market analysis.

Mr. James Davis
Director of Short-Term Global Oil Service
FGE London

James Davis leads FGE’s Short-Term service and crude oil production forecasting. He also covers crude oil price differentials analysis and regularly provides input into FGE’s short term market research reports.

Mr. Cuneyt Kazokoglu
Director of Long-Term Service and Head of Oil Demand
FGE London

Cuneyt is responsible for overseeing all the company’s oil demand forecasts, both short and long term, which underpins the Group’s retainer services and ad-hoc projects. In this role, he is called upon to make presentations to clients outlining potential market and industry developments and discuss the strategic implications, under scenario and brainstorming exercises.

Steve Sawyer has over 35 years of experience in the downstream, strategic planning, commercial optimisation, operational and analytical roles and has worked for FGE since 2012, following five years with Petroplus as Manager, Production Planning & Economics at the Coryton refinery in the UK.

Recipients of FGE Services

Recipients of FGE services are entitled to two free places per company at each of the two briefings. Additional seats for FGE clients are chargeable (see below). Please note, free seats are not transferrable to non-recipients.

 

Non-Recipients/Additional Seats

Non-recipients and additional seats at these briefings are charged at US$250 per person (individual session) or US$400 per person (joint attendance for Sessions 1 & 2).

 

Places are limited, and attendance will be based on a first-come basis. Once you register, please allow up to 48 hours for your registration to be confirmed.
